​Many project cars can be 25 + years old, the harness’s become brittle and damaged from the 1000’s of heat cycles that they experience.

We construct our harness from OEM + grade materials to make sure that it lasts another 25 + years with an issue.

Our Motorsport grade harnesses are constructed from aerospace/motorsport grade materials. These are a necessity in harsh environments like racing and provide the ultimate reliability.

All our harnesses are custom made to fit your vehicle and the electronics package.

Planning is a huge part of constructing a custom wiring harness. The entire harness is mapped out including all of the pinouts, wiring schematics, harness dimensions and material/connector part numbers. 

We can also configure and tune your electronics package.

 

 

Wire harness types 

 

Street

 

Our “Street” harnesses are constructed using similar materials that all of the large vehicle manufactures use e.g. 

 

TXL wire: we use tinned copper TXL wire as it has a small overall diameter, can withstand continuous temperatures up to 125’C and has great conductive and anti corrosive properties.

 

Self closing sheathing: This sheathing has great anti abrasive properties and can withstand constant temperatures up to 150’C. It also is very serviceable as it can be removed and reinstalled at any stage for repairs or modifications.

 

Genuine connectors: We only use genuine connectors and terminals in all of our wiring harnesses to ensure high quality connections.

Track

Our “Track” harnesses feature aerospace/military grade materials and are constructed using the concentric twist method. This is a great option when a dedicated motorsport harness isn't needed, but you are still looking for a high level harness.

 

Tefzel wire: Tefzel features a tinned copper conductor wrapped in a very thin but tough XLPE sheathing. This helps to keep the overall diameter of the harness small while maintaining great durability. Tefzel’s operating temperature is 150’C continuous.

 

DR25: Raychem’s DR25 (diesel resistant) sheathing is very durable to high temperatures 150’C and chemicals.

 

Genuine connectors + Mil Spec connectors: These harnesses feature a range of both milspec and genuine connectors depending on the needs and requirements of the harness.

 

Concentrically Twisted: This method uses a central core surrounded by multiple layers, laid in opposing directions to create a very small, neat, flexible harness and greatly relieves wire strain.

Motorsport

Our “Motorsport” harnesses are constructed using nothing but the best materials and methods: tefzel wiring and tefzel shielded cables, Raychem system 25 harnessing components (DR25 heatshrink sheathing and heatshrink moulded boots), Military/Aerospace connectors, concentrically twisted and all moulded boots/transitions epoxy sealed.

 

These are a serious harness designed for the harsh conditions seen in motorsport applications where reliability and functionality is essential.

Heatshrink Moulded boots: These boots along with epoxy create a sealed harness while also providing strain relief. They come in all shaped and sizes including "T" transitions, 90' and 180' lipped boots for connectors that feature a backshell.

 

 Milspec/Autosport connectors: Military, Aerospace and Motorsport grade connectors are used for rapid installation connections. These generally feature an alloy body with gold plated terminals and are IP67 rated once mated. Genuine connectors are used for all factory sensors and actuators or they can be potted with epoxy and terminated to a motorsport connector.
