DYNO Tuning
Dyno Tuning is process of using a Dynamometer to measure the power and torque output of a vehicle/engine. This process allows for accurate calibration of the engine in a controlled and safe environment. A huge amount of critical data can also be collected while on the dyno to ensure that the engine is running in an optimal window, this applies to both "Reflash Tuning" and "Standalone Engine Management Tuning"
Reflash Tuning
Reflash tuning is the process of downloading the data from the factory ECU, modifying that data and uploading it back into the ECU.
This process can be very powerful and cost effective. Not only can we recalibrate the factory ECU in the same way that the OEM engineers have, but its also comes at a lower cost as there is no need to upgrade the ECU. This makes for a fast, reliable and accurate technique for tuning your vehicle.
Tuning is critical after any modifications have been made to your vehicle. We aim to extract peak performance while maintaining reliability and creating a great driving experience. We can tune a wide variety of vehicles but our most popular brands include: Holden, Toyota, Ford, Hyundai/KIA, Subaru and VW.
Standalone ECU Tuning
Standalone Engine Management Tuning allows us to tune the vehicle live. We can make adjustments on the fly and see the affects in real time.
Standalone ECU's also focus more on motorsport features like: Anti lag, Launch control, traction control, no lift shifts ect. This is great if your are looking to race/track your vehicle or if you are performing large modifications that the factory ECU can't control reliably or at all.
Standalone ECU's can either be wired into the vehicle and setup from scratch, or a Plug and Play unit can be installed.
Wire in options are seen in more motorsport oriented projects and can be apart of a larger electronics package including PDM, CAN Keypads, Digital dash and data loggers.
Plug and Play ECU's are available for select models and are a great option especially for newer vehicles where the ECU has to emulate all the factory CAN messaging for correct operation of the vehicle.
